I haven't been able to sync for some days. If I leave Zotero open (and I have some some days at a time), the green arrow continues to spin. If I close and restart Zotero (and sometimes the computer), the Zotero screen greys out and I get the synching progress bar, after which I am asked to resolve conflicts. This look to have been the same ones for the last day or so.

Currently, hovering over the green arrow, shows:

"Getting updated data from synch server
Last sync: 9 days ago"

Zotero 4.08 Standalone
Windows 7 64 bit

    It looks like you're trying to upload a huge number of items, many of them in the trash. Empty the trash in all of your libraries, and then try syncing again, and post here when you do (since I may need to clear your stalled sync on the server).
  • All trashes emptied. There were a lot of deleted items!

    Sync is trying again but hasn't completed (yet).

  • Still synching not completed. Restarted Zotero Standlone and I now have 2915 conflicts to resolve! I would sooner not, or at least be sure that I only have to do it once!

    I've cleared your stalled upload. What kind of conflicts?
  • Synch has restarted without conflict messages. Previously, the 2915 (or the first few I looked at!) were about deleted local copies (from the deleted trashes?) and a number of Pubmed entries that appeared identical or perhaps only different by date.

    I'll post again when I know whether the sync has completed successfuly or not.
