Place element for Artwork?

I am really excited about Zotero's ability to organize images, but I think it is missing an essential metadata element. Adding a place field would enable Zotero to better handle image citations.

This website has a good overview of how images are cited:

One of the key elements of an image citation is city or country of origin. Although it could be placed within the archive field (along with the museum), some styles require place to come before the museum, and others after.

In other cases, artworks have no archive/museum such as outdoor sculptures, public artworks, monuments, performances, interventions, street art, etc

It may also be useful to be able to have a place for items that have been taken from their country of origin to a museum in another country. For example the Parthenon Frieze may have a place of Greece, but an archive of the British Museum.
  • I've added this to the artwork ticket here:

I don't think that's going to be controversial - it makes sense and it uses an already existing field and CSL variable.
The latest on field updates is that they will likely be in Zotero 4.0
I'm pretty sure we'll get a beta out this year, Dan think it may even be by this summer.
