Brill online journals and ebooks

Hello. At the moment, Zotero only provides DOI import for Brill online journals and ebooks: no automatic PDF download, and no batch downloading from the issue's front page (no folder icon). E.g.: http://booksandjournals.brillonline.com/content/15700623 . I am using Zotero FF.
  • As of today (Dec 17), it now is not even downloading the bibliographic information via the DOI, giving instead an error. Do let me know if more information is needed to address this. Many thanks.
  • do you have a sample URL for an error? Works for me e.g. here:
    http://booksandjournals.brillonline.com/content/10.1163/157006203322848559

writing a translator for that site will take time.
  • You're right...it is working. I don't know what caused me to receive that error two days ago. Thank you for looking into it, and for considering writing a translator for the site, as it does contain a number of important journals for the humanities.
  • The translator for Brill is now up.
It will work for all journal articles, TOCs, and search results and should attach PDFs where you have access. It won't work for books and chapters, as Brill doesn't provide useful data (they have citation export, but the data is so sparse that it's not worth it).

Your version of Zotero will automatically update within 24hs, or you can update manually using the "Update Now" button in the "General" tab of the Zotero preferences.

    Any problems let us know.
  • Just tested it and it seems to work perfectly. Many thanks, once again.
