Style Request: [Neurobiology of Aging]

This is a request for a new citation style for Neurobiology of Aging. The style is very close to Elsevier's Harvard Style (with titles). The only difference that I note is that the citations within the text should be in alphabetical order rather than chronological order. I don't think there are differences in punctuation, abbreviations, etc because they are both Elsevier. I provided links to the author's instruction page and to a freely available paper.

Thanks so much!

  • bookmarked - but will currenty take some time to do this.
  • If the only difference is the order of inline citations, this shuld work: In the (copied/renamed) CSL-file of Elsevier's Harvard style, find the citation tag (<citation ...>), and reverse the order of lines in

    <sort>
    <key macro="issued"/>
    <key macro="author"/>
    </sort>

    to yield:

    <sort>
    <key macro="author"/>
    <key macro="issued"/>
    </sort>

    This specifies the sorting of inline citations to be by author first, and then by year (issued).

    Good luck!
  • the style is now up - turns out the sorting was incorrect for Elsevier Harvard - so I fixed that and linked Neurobiology of Aging to it.
