Hyphen between initials

Recently, I have noted that when zotero imports author names it is using a hyphen between the initials e.g. Kennedy J-F. Previously it used to be like Kennedy JF which was better.

How to change it back to old ways?

    I can only address this case by case - nothing has changed in Zotero as far as I'm aware. In this case, Zotero get's the data from CrossRef via DOI, and CrossRef does indeed have Sanjeev-R as a first name.

    Yes, indeed!

    The problem was specific to that particular reference. I edited the reference in zotero to my like.

    Rest of the references are fine!
