Style Update: European Urology

Recently converted to Zotero and incredibly pleased with everything. Keep up the strong work!

I've recently installed the European Urology citation style (dated 9-20-2008). However, European Urology has changed their bibliographic format, now using square brackets around citations and the bibliographic listings (among other changes).

Is there a way to either request an update to the style plugin or edit the current style myself to reflect these new changes?

Thanks
  • yes to both

for requesting (which may take quite a while)

    for changing yourself.,

Note that by "installing" European Urology, you're just installing a link to the Vancouver style (that's why it won't show up in the test panel mentioned in the simple edits description). For a start, you can install "Vancouver with Brackets" from the repository to get the numbers in square brackets.
  • Editing on my own worked like a charm. It's pretty straight forward finding the sections to change. Thanks for the help.
  • Good. But how about post the updated file on gist.github.com so that we can fold that into the repository?
  • Today I tried to use the citation style European Urology and noticed that it is the "old" one.

I noticed that the new style is like the Elsevier Vancouver one. Unfortunately the citation style Elsevier Vancouver doesn't work, I couldn't add the bibliography.

Could you post the new style of European Urology for me, please?

    Thank you.
  • Elsevier Vancouver absolutely works - if you get an error, first re-install the style from the repository. If that doesn't work, try resetting styles from the advanced tab of the Zotero preferences and then re-install the style. If none of that works start a new thread with a full error description:

  • Thank you.
Do you mean I should du the zotero sync reset from the server?
  • No, don't do that.
