Zotero v. 9.0.6
CMOS 18

The day-month-year format is permissible in CMOS (CMOS 18, §§ 6.41, 9.37). Is there a way to set a preference for this order in Zotero?

Thanks.

If you set the style to en-GB (English, United Kingdom) you'll get day-month-year dates, but you'll also get other British English features like single quotes and commas outside of quotation marks.

Just switching the date formats isn't possible, no, and we wouldn't add a style variant for this (it's not even mentioned as an option in the section on citations, so unclear to what degree it applies), but you can modify the style yourself if it's important.
