Translator for Legifrance french law texts ?

Hello,

There is a systematic error when trying to record a french law citation using the zotero connector. It saves it as a website instead of a law text.

example url : https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/loda/id/LEGIARTI000019238672/2008-07-25

It seems to be an ancient problem as I can find a 2023 thread about this problem here : https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/105625/erreur-connecteur-extension-legifrance-error-connector-for-legifrance

There are a few other threads facing the same problem at different dates.

The commit by ZoeCMa (see 2023 thread) on github seems to be the translator version currently ditributed by zotero. However it doesn't work (anymore ?). I know that the legifrance website went through a major update in the past years but I can't recall exactly when.

Is there any other translator available somewhere ? If not, is there hope for zotero team to adress this problem or does it involve too little users for it to be solved ?

Thank you everyone

The translator I am seeing in production doesn't look like the 2023 PR, which hasn't been reviewed yet. The header still mentions "lastUpdated": "2021-06-07 16:46:17"...

The situation is not hopeless, but an admin needs to review ZoeCMa's code before anything else can happen.
  • That's weird, when I checked yesterday to replace the previous one by the one from ZoeCMa, at least to see if it would work for me, i found that the one in my install was the same but even more recent (like one day after the header mention in zoe's translator). Maybe I was mistaken.

Anyway, it doesn't work nonetheless !
