Upgrade StorageZotero Connector 5.0.212 fails to save PDFs from multiple sources
I'm using Chrome with Zotero Connector 5.0.212 and Zotero desktop. The Connector successfully communicates with Zotero (http://127.0.0.1:23119/connector/ping returns “Zotero is running”), and saving regular webpage items works. However, whenever I try to save a PDF, the Connector changes to the PDF icon and gives “An error occurred while saving this item.”
This happens with PDFs from multiple sources, not just one website. I can download and manually add the PDFs through the Zotero desktop app.
Some of the PDFs I'm trying to save are being accessed through the University of Toronto (UofT) library/institutional access. In particular, I'm accessing Policy Commons through my UofT access, and the PDFs are accessed through that authenticated environment. However, the PDF-saving problem also occurs with PDFs from other sources.
The destination is a Zotero group library where members have both Library Editing and File Editing permissions. “Automatically attach associated PDFs” is enabled.
