"Sync faild" pop-up in Android without network connection

Hi,

first of all, THANK YOU for the epub support in the Android branch, this is huge!

I'm reading on an Onyx Boox Go 6 (gen II) when traveling. I disable network most of the time because it is neither available nor needed when on the go.

Zotero works very well on it but there is one oddity that is quite annoying, similar to https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/122712/android-hide-sync-popup-in-reader .

Zotero tries to sync last reading state on every page turn. Also it tries to sync on every modified highlight, comment and so forth.

This is generally a good thing, however when no network is available, this results in a large warning message on every new page saying "Sync failed (Unable to connect to the network. Please try again.)". This is especially annoying on an e-ink display because after the pop-up has disappeared, the text is displayed somewhat thinner, less dark, because there usually is not a whole page refresh. This happens on every single page.

Might it be possible to add a checkbox or something on the dialog to disable this kind of warning for the next two hours or so? Or even better: disable it completely while "airplane mode" is active? This sounds sensible to me because this would be an active user choice and not something unexpected. How do you think?
