Invalid username or password

Hi;
After using Juris-M over four years, I now tried creating a zotero-account to sync my data between devices. I just got the verification that my my e-mail is confirmed and all, but after trying to enter my password and username in both the sync-settings of my old and new device, I got the notification that either my username or password is invalid (needles to say that I entered both multiple times, so they can't be wrong). Please help

    For security reasons, only current versions of Zotero are able to log in for syncing, except immediately after a successful password reset.
