Zotero experienced an error updating your document

Hello,

I am experiencing a problem with Zotero Word integration.

Environment

Zotero: 9.0.4 (64-bit)
Microsoft Word: Microsoft 365 MSO Version 2605 Build 18827.20168 (64-bit)
Windows 11

Problem
When I use Add/Edit Citation in Word, the citation dialog opens normally and I can select a reference. However, after selecting the reference, Zotero shows:

"Zotero experienced an error updating your document."

In some cases, I also receive a popup containing:

ZOTERO_TRANSFER_DOCUMENT

The issue occurs even in a completely new blank Word document.

What works

Zotero tab appears in Word.
Document Preferences opens normally.
Citation style can be selected.
Citation search dialog opens normally.
References can be selected.
Add/Edit Bibliography works correctly.
Word fields can be displayed/hidden normally (Alt+F9).

What does not work

Add/Edit Citation fails after selecting a reference.
The citation is not inserted into the document.

Debug ID
D1623770570

Relevant lines from the debug output:

The RPC server is unavailable. [cleanup: document.cpp]

Tipe parameter yang diluluskan atau diharapkan salah
[insertField: document.cpp]

(English translation: "The parameter type passed or expected is incorrect.")

Troubleshooting already attempted

Tested in a completely new blank document.
Reinstalled Microsoft Word Add-in from Zotero.
Restarted Zotero, Word, and Windows.
Performed Microsoft 365 Quick Repair and Online Repair.
Updated Zotero to 9.0.4.
Tested multiple citation styles.
Bibliography insertion still works, but citation insertion fails.
Initially, I noticed the issue when using Turabian 9th edition (notes and bibliography, subsequent author-only citations). However, after further testing, I found that the same problem also occurs with some other citation styles. Therefore, the issue does not appear to be limited to a single citation style.

The problem previously did not occur on this computer. Zotero citation insertion worked normally before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
