Add a new type

Hello,
What is the procedure for suggesting the addition of a new type to the list? For our bibliography, we would need the type ‘serious game’/"jeu sérieux".

You can ask here, but generally, new item types are added very conservatively and would need to both be quite broad and widely requested. jeu serieux definitely wouldn't qualify. There's been some discussion about adding 'game', especially computer games, but for the most part those can get captured pretty well as software.

Thank you for your reply. Serious games are very interesting (and very serious) productions in the field of educational gaming. Particularly in our field of digital sciences, these productions are not only created by specialists in education and the relevant fields, but are also widely used to explain and present topics and concepts. We are currently compiling a bibliography on the impact of digital technology and would like very much to identify this new type of production. Thank you.
