Double PDF file after doing a "Retrieve Metadata" operation on a standalone PDF file

The "Retrieve Metadata" operation on a standalone PDF file produces 2 PDF files displayed in the items list: one standalone and one child attachment.

The 2 PDF files displayed seem to be the same: applying a coloured tag to one of them also adds it to the other.
Just changing collection and back to My Library makes the standalone PDF file disappear.

    Thank you. This is fixed for doing a "Retrieve Metadata" or drag and drop to a parent item.
    But now I see a similar problem for doing the opposite: "Undo Retrieve Metadata" (after expanding the parent item), or drag and drop a PDF file out from a parent item. The file disappears after the operation instead of becoming double.
