Proposing a simple change to tag search functionality
TLDR: make the "add tag" search in the web app based on "contains" rather than "starts with"
I predominantly use the web version of Zotero due to limitations with installed software. If I use compound concepts in a single tag, I have to remember the order of those concepts to find and use the tag. This slows down my tagging, which is ideally a low-friction activity that I can do when I first import a paper.
There are two places to search for tags. The list of tags in the bottom left uses "contains" for searching in the "manage tags" window, but the "add tag" feature uses "starts with".
