Deleting a collection doesn't appear to decrease the Storage Amount shown

I've just deleted a collection to keep my collection below 2000 MB, but when I refreshed my
https://www.zotero.org/settings/storage link, there was no change. It still shows 2001.8 MB

I would prefer more timely feed back, given that I wouldn't want to lose most of the rest of my collection.

Any suggestions?

(And note that deleting a collection doesn’t even send items to the trash by default, let alone delete them permanently.)
