Word crashed when I add a citation

I have the Zotero plugin in my word and sucessfully added some citations. After some hours suddenly my word crashes every time I want to add a citation. I tried the refresh button in the zotero menu in word and I also closed both (word and Zotero) and started it again, but the error still remains.

What is the full version of Word that you are running? See Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents

I am using Version 2402 of word.

You will have to follow the troubleshooting steps above. In the past some users reported issues with Tables of Content and Indexes. It might be worth a try removing it if you have one.
