Web extension not working

I don't think my web extension is working. I was having trouble downloading citations from the web browser. I would click to download but then it doesn't appear in my library (even check my library on my web browser to check it wasn't a syncing problem). I have tried multiple papers from multiple websites. I have re-started my web browser (safari) and the Zotero application. I have re-downloaded the Zotero application. I checked my extension version and it seems up to date (v 5.0.114). Any ideas on what else I could try?

You would click on "download" or on "Save to Zotero"? Download is not a Zotero extension option (important to be precise in describing issues so we can tell what's going on)
