How to sync Zotero data to NAS on external network

I am using the Zotero on a Windows laptop. I am trying to sync over external network to my Zotero data on my home Synology NAS using WebDAV (instead of using the Zotero server) and am getting this error message when I use the external https IP address for my NAS:

"xxx.synology.me:5006 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates.

An additional root certificate may need to be imported.

The certificate is not valid for the name xxx.synology.me.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER”

while it works when I use the http address nad 5005.

Does anyone have any guidance for how to help?

Assuming this is a self-signed cert: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/cert_override

I have resolved the issue by simply going to the DDNS settings interface on the Synology NAS, and selecting the option "Obtain certificate from Let's Encrypt and set it as the default certificate." After confirming the selection, returning to the Zotero verification server successfully connected.
