Cannot add papers by drag & drop

Hi there,
Zotero wouldn't let me add new papers by drag & drop as my storage quota was reached. I renewed my subscription and I still can't add new papers by dragging them into Zotero. It does load papers through the Chrome plugin though.

Any tips to fix the drag & drop issue?
Most of my papers are in pdf files so I need to add them by dragging them into Zotero.

    No, that wouldn't have anything to do with your storage quota — the storage quota has no effect on your ability to use Zotero locally.

    If this is Windows, this would usually be due to running Zotero as Administrator by mistake. Zotero should always be set to run as your regular user.

    Beyond that, restart your computer, and if you're still having trouble provide a Debug ID for an attempt that fails.
