Zotero 7: Wrong Preview of Filename Format when selecting a child item

The Preview of the Filename Format displays ".pdf" when a child item is selected, irrespective wheter it is a PDF file, an EPUB file or even a note...

The file renaming is fine.

    The problem there isn't really that it's showing ".pdf" — it's that it's just using the selected item for the filename, and notes and attachments only have titles. It shouldn't try to use the current item at all for notes or URL attachments, and for file attachments it should use the parent. Whether it shows ".pdf" is sort of immaterial — we might as well get the actual file extension and use that, but it's not really relevant for the preview, which is just about the metadata.

    Right. I had written "_<_Title of the child item_>_.pdf" (without the _) and the content within <> disappeared (it still shows if I try to edit the content of the original post)... I should have checked the post with the Preview button or after posting.
