Zotero data file ok on mapped drive of Google Drive

Hello All
I see that one should not have the Zotero files directly on a Cloud storage system. Would it be ok to have the Zotero files on a mapped drive on my computer that is linked to Google Drive? The mapped drive is a physical location on my computer, and these files get mirrored onto Google Drive.

Basically all "cloud storage folders" are still folders on your local disk. The point is that the data directory shouldn't be in any folder that's changed in any way by cloud storage software.
