"CTRL+Tab" shortcut for tabs switch function suggetion

From Firefox browser, normally pressing the shortcut of "CTRL+Tab" keys will switch the recently viewed two tabs only unless hold the CTRL keys for more tabs. I would like to suggest zotero to follow the same function rather scrolling all the tabs, that will help us to focus on the most recent tabs while reading the PDF files.

    I second this. I use ctrl+tab to switch between two PDFs quickly. Also, the different behavior of ctrl+tab between Firefox browser and Zotero is confusing.

    ctrl-tab works in Zotero 7.1 Beta 14.

    I am also interested in this feature. I am using Zotero 7.1-beta.24. There does not seem to be an option for this in the Preference menu. I have tried to turn on `browser.ctrlTab.sortByRecentlyUsed` in about:config, which is the way to do it in Firefox, but the tab switching still happens from left to right. Am I missing something?

    I tried your approach @Kaladin, but unfortunately to no avail, so I second this.

    I also would like this feature. IMHO, the current behavios for Ctrl+Tab makes it useless for the way I use it : I often have dozens of open tabs, so I don't see the point of having to cycle threw all of them.

    All major software allow to switch to the most recent tab. Firefox, but also VS Code. It would be great to have this behavior by default, or at least to have the option to use it.
