Upgrade StorageSyncing to the Zotero Server not working
We are doing some very simple and straightforward things, but sync fundamentally does not work.
Inputting references on a PC, trying to sync to a mac, both with the latest version of firefox.
Problems:
1. Frequent crashes of firefox (on the Mac)
2. continuous "sync" errors, when trying to sync from either the PC or the mac. (The PC has these errors all by itself, no mac necessary).
3. We get several different errors, two of which are described below.
4. When we export the Zotero Library to a file, and then manually copy the file over to another machine and try to "import" there, we still get errors.
5. The reference library is not that big (~500 references).
We are stuck, a lot of work has gone into this. Nothing we do seems to work.

4 is unrelated to your sync problems. Using import/export for migration/syncing is not recommended. However, it might be useful to later troubleshoot why it didn't import. To do a one-time, one-way "sync" to the Mac, you can just copy the data directory over.
You should probably push data to the server from the PC.

I don't know all of the ways that your delete log might be dated after the last sync, but double-checking the clock on servers & clients might be worthwhile.
Restore to zotero server should hopefully fix these issues, though.
