"Keep sources sorted" does not appear when editing a citaion in Word

I am running Word 2008. When I insert a citation with multiple authors, the "keep sources sorted" box is checked. If I later edit this citation, this option does not show anymore. Also, it would be useful to have a tooltip for this option or alternatively to rename it "Automatically sort sources". In the current implementation, it is not clear if "keep sources sorted" means "keep thhe sources in the order that they are now" or "automatically sort sources"

    Old post, but I agree. "Automatically sort sources" seems perfect to me.
