Middle Column: Date Added...is Wrong.

When I add an item the Middle Column field: "Date Added" does NOT agree with "Date Added" field in the Info Section of the item. Humm it's 4 hours ahead of my time...no, that's not GMT, but it's close. GMT is 5 hours ahead of my local time--here in New York.
