Problem to open saved pdf files

Hello, all,

I usually have saved attached pdf files for paper search. However, there have been wired thing for opening the saved pdf file. When I click the save pdf file, I can't open pdf file, but there is the following message:

and it finished the below message

The above is one example. By the way, the save pdf file can be opened using 'show file' button.

This is annoying me. Could you give some effective comment for this phenomenon?

sounds like a plugin problem - what happens when you open a .pdf from within Firefox?

When I open pdf file within Firefox, there was some message such as above one. But for same pdf, I can open it within internet explorer.

If this is plugin problem, How can I fix this?

as a short term you can disable the adobe pdf plugin under Tools- Add Ons - plugins.

I think to try to fix it you will need to re-install adobe reader entirely (but since it's free (as in free beer) that shouldn't be an issue) - but maybe there's a better way of repairing it.
