VTLS translator works weird or a bug in Zotero?

Hi,

would it be possible to check and fix this? I believe it is a bug but I don't know whether ir resides in VTLS translator or Zotero.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.4 (Polish) and Zotero 1.0.7 (Polish) on Windows XP.
When I try to download VTLS library catalog list of titles, it works only for English version of the catalog interface

I didn't write the VTLS translator, but it looks like it has a hard-coded lookup for "Title" and isn't finding "Tytuł". (There doesn't appear to be much in the way of semantic markup in the VTLS output, so hard-coding may be the only way to go for the search results pages.) We'll need to fix this in the translator. Ticket created.

Hello,
I know there is a lot of work on all these bugs but any approximate date we could expect having this problem fixed for VTLS translator?

We would really appreciate it, we wanted to implement Zotero for wide use with Polish union catalog running under VTLS Virtua and this bug stops us from recommending Zotero to our users.

Dan, kea,

I can take a look at this. Their catalog has only the two languages, so I should be able to use the same tricks I used on the Nagoya interface. I'm feeling a bit weary of the Bluebook stuff this evening, it will be a nice break. More soon.

PS: Ah, I see the problem. This is a generic translator for library catalogues of this type, so there may be many languages to the interface. Hmm. What Dan said. This is a hard case.

I believe that I have fixed this, but you need to use the "Wejście dla katalogującego", the cataloguer's interface, for it to work, since the reader's interface (Wejście dla czytelnika) doesn't have a link to the MARC data that we are using.

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/Library Catalog (VTLS).js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data).

It should start working again. If this works for you, please post here

When I try to download VTLS library catalog list of titles, it works only for English version of the catalog interface, but not for the Polish one.

However, when I try to download individual titles one by one, it works only for Polish interface, not the English one.

Should now be fixed.
Your copy of Zotero will auto-update within 24hs or you can update immediately from the General tab of the Zotero preferences.
Any problems, please let us know.

(btw. You should update your copy of Firefox to 16 - it's unsafe to run Firefox outdated Firefox versions like 13 - if frequent updates are complicated at your workplace, look into Firefox's "Extended Support" releases.)
