I am writing this because I came across another thread that was posted in Nov 2006 with the exact same request. This is quite a long time for this feature to have not been developed.

A question to the developers - Is there a reason that you don't want this feature to be implemented??

If you implement this you will be able to make zotero the dominant single tool that everyone in this world will use for bookmarking and all sorts of activities. Plus when you can get this import functionality to finally work and people start syncing their data with your servers you literally get data that people have been saving for years. The really important data(thats why they had bookmarked it in the first place), so you get to play 'google' for once. ;-)..........................

So please think about implementing an html bookmark importer, or even a newer one that will work with the ff3 database file, or even a json importer. It will be worth its weight in gold.

Then again, you have made a great software and I thank you for that.
