    Hello,

    I'm aware the web bookmarking topic and Zotero being not just a bookmark manager but much more have been discussed previously.

    I would primarily use Zotero as a bookmark manager and web noting system. In this regard, I have between 12 000 to 17 000 bookmarks in my actual bookmark manager. What I would like to know about Zotero:
    - Can it handle such a large bookmark-note collection without becoming sluggish?
    - How much Zotero can take before showing signs of decrease of working speed?
    - What's cooking or what's up ahead for the "bookmark" related features in Zotero?

    I would really, really like to have a Zotero expert user's opinion on this topic.
    Can Zotero handle a large collection of web items (bookmarks, notes, etc...) without seeing a decrease in speed of use?

    I have a collection of over 12 000 bookmarks, notes, images, articles stocked in a web manager (Surfulater).

    Tipping me in the right direction where I can get information about this topic would be much appreciated.

    Thanks for the link, much appreciated! Now I'll start populating Zotero and I'll give some feedbacks about my experrience.
