    I'm using the latest Mac firefox, lates Zotero version, and Mac 10.4.11 on a 2.16 Intel Duo and repeatedly get error messages attempting to import a Zotero backup file. I have attempted to use several different backup files with not success.

    Any suggestions?

    I have a similar problem. Trying to switch out my large zotero library from my old PC to a new Mac. Latest versions of everything as of today, July 14th. The export library function seemed to work OK, but the import hung up on one file (or more) and I got an error message; firefox also went straight to the "problem" snapshot page. My error report number is 475417755.
    I'm thinking of using the sync development program, but I'm not a super-sophisticated user and am intimidated by it.

    Paul, please restart Firefox, attempt an import, send in a error report with Report Errors under the Actions (gear icon) menu, and post the Report ID here.
