Everytime I close my OpenOffice document with references cited, I lose the linkage of the citations to the actual bibliography so that when I try to insert a new citation, it restarts the numbering and basically creates a new bibliography (plus none of the previous citations are highlighted). So this basically means that I have to finish the paper and insert the bibliography in one sitting. What is the exact problem? Can it be fixed so that I can come back to insert more citations on the fly? Thanks!
