Troubleshooting: Error downloading Zotero 1.0.6 on firefox 3.0

    I just upgraded to firefox 3.0 but noticed Zotero was gone. So, i tried downloading zotero 1.0.6 but receive this error:

    Error: [Exception...     I tried moving my Zotero folder out of the way, but this didn't change anything.

    Anyone encountered this?

    Actually, i just found the issue. The solution was documented under "more technical considerations" in the Installation support page.

    See below taken from http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions_-_Firefox#Download_Error_-228

    "Files that store information about the extensions you have installed can sometimes be corrupted. Deleting them can fix a number of extension issues; they will be regenerated the next time you start Firefox. [12][13]. Exit Firefox completely, then open your Firefox profile folder (read the linked article for its location) and delete* these three files: extensions.ini, extensions.cache,extensions.rdf "
