can't import Endnote references

When I try to import references from End Note, I get a message saying that Zotero can't import because an error has occurred. It suggests that the file I am trying to import may not be right. But I have checked the export file created by Endnote and it looks right. It is text only and in RIS format. What a I doing wrong?

    The instructions I just read in the Zotero help document said to export from EndNote using BibText, not RIS. You might try that. Although I have had problems myself when I use that as the export. I hope someone on this site knows what's wrong.

    Try copying and pasting parts of the RIS file into new ones until you find (if possible) a single reference that gives the error, and then post it here. If you copy half of the file at a time, and then half of the side that gives the error, then half again, and so on, you should be able to narrow it down pretty quickly.
