Troubleshooting: Can't find my library

    I am quite certain I backed up my library not long ago. My hard drive failed, and I'm trying to get my library back on the computer I am using temporarily. I cannot find my library. I tried all the suggestions that were given on the different discussion threads, but nothing... Is there any hope my library can still be recovered?
    Thank you for any help!
