Hello Zotero community,
and thanks for the wonderful work done to bring us the tool.
I installed xpdf and then checked if my newly added pdf links were indexed.
It --partly-- works, as it seems to me that all words with an accent, such as "cliché", written "c, l, i, c, h and "e acute"" are not indexed, or are not found in the indexed pdf article, if one searches for them. Is it normal ? Do I have to install a localized version of xpdf plugin ?
Thank you for your answers. G. -

The pdftotext cache files were being saved as Latin-1 rather than UTF-8 (and Zotero reads them into the fulltext word index as UTF-8). This is now fixed in the latest dev build.
When 1.0.4 comes out, you'll need to reindex existing documents for them to be searchable.
Thanks.
