Here a website - of a prominent newspaper - that Zotero does not seem to be able to handle via snapshot / webpagedumb (the saved entry renders back as a string of garbled ASCII, in Firefox at least):
I only found out by chance when going back to a set of saved snapshots, having previously assumed the snapshots had worked OK, so am taking away from this that it's good practice to double check proper snapshot rendering when saving a page.
But it would be good to know whether this is a known systemic limitation, or a slip in WPD that it might be worth fixing?
(Workaround: print to file then 'attach stored copy of file')
A snapshot of that page works fine for me, both via the translator and via Create New Item from Current Page (which shouldn't make a difference as far as the attached snapshot is concerned, other than that some translators save the print version automatically).
That said, WPD is old and unmaintained, and we need a replacement.
