Chicago Author-Date Patent Formatting

I've searched to the extent of my limited ability to search, and I can't find any discussions on this - the Chicago bibliography does nothing to so much as denote that what it is citing is a patent. My understanding is that such a citation should look like this:

Miura, Yoshihisa, Tetsuaki Numata and Marc Le Calve. 2005. One-way clutch. US Patent 6,892,868 filed July 3, 2002 and issued May 17, 2005.

Zotero's output doesn't even come close:

Miura, Yoshihisa, Tetsuaki Numata and Marc Le Calve. 2005. One-Way Clutch. 17. May.

Any help? I cite patents extensively, and this is critical for Zotero being useful for me.
  • I don't think patents are coded into Chicago author-date. I can have a look, but it'll take some time.
  • actually, let me take this back - Zotero doesn't pass on most of the relevant fields to the citation engine (no country, issuing authority, or filing date). I'll wait until this is improved on the Zotero side (which is planned) until I try to code this in the style.
