Search resets after any library operation

Following a search within zotero I typically want to work with several of my results. However, with each library operation (delete, add note, etc.) the search results are reset and I am forced to search again. Any way around this behavior? I am currently running 3.0b2, but I believe 2 has similar behavior.

    I think that should be changed/fixed, but until then the fastest way to work with searches is probably saved searches, which can be created from any advanced search.
