Style Request: ROSE School - IUSS, Italy
Hi all,
I hope any of you can help me to develop a code for the style citation of the "European School for Advanced Studies in Reduction of Seismic Risk (ROSE School), University of Pavia, Italy"
I see that my format is closed to the ASCE one.
Since the ROSESchool webpage is under maintanance, I can not give the link for downloading the requested format. However, I can send you it by email, mine is starque@roseschool.it.
I was even modifying the style for ASCE.
Thank you in advance.
Nicola Tarque

1) list the differences to ASCE and
2) specify if and where the style uses italics
Thank you for the reply.
Differences:
1.- All references.- Data is between squared brackets [ ]. Example: [Smith et al. 2010]
2.- Article in journal.- The volume, issue and pp. is specified as: Vol. 21, No. 2, pp. 1-5
3.- Thesis and individual studies.- After the Title, the type of work should be specified in italic. Example:
Crowley, H. [2005] “Modelling of earthquake hazard,” Individual Study, European School for Advanced Studies in Reduction of Seismic Risk, University of Pavia, Italy.
4.- Conference papers.- A prefix= Proceeding of.... should be written to specify the name of the conference.
Now I am writing between () where the style is in Italic:

Just to remind you about this comment.
Thank you,

using right-click-->save link as...
Then install by dragging the downloaded file to any open FF window.
Let me know how it goes so we can put it up on the repository. An actual style guide would still be great - this isn't really enough information for a decent citation style.
Nicola
I think it is correct. However, I found just few missing parts like "Proceedings of..." for conference references and "Individual study..." for dissertation references, both after the publication title (see examples below).
I will ask for an style guide.
[Example of conference reference]
Abrams, D.P. [1992] “Strength and behaviour of unreinforced masonry elements,” Proceedings of 10th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (ITALIC), Madrid, Spain.
[Example of dissertation / individual study / thesis reference]

Thank you very much,
Nicola
You can enclose a phrase in <i> and </i> in html mode to get italics on the forum, otherwise I'll need a styleguide, I don't have the time to guess.
You are right, so sorry. Please, just if you can I will really thanks the improvement. Even, i will try to modify the code.

Thank you,
Nicola Tarque
For conference, put
Proceedings of 10th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering
in the "Conference Proceedings" field.
For thesis and individual papers etc. use either the Thesis or the Manuscript document type and put the type of paper in the type field (like "Individual Paper," "Dissertation" etc.).
Thank you very much for your kindly help.
Regards,
Nicola
