Look at the title bar of the middle column...where you see "Title," "Creator," etc. There is a small triangle in one of them. The window is sorted by that column. To sort by another column, click that heading. To sort the same column, but in the opposite order (Z-A), click it again.

To add (or subtract) columns from the window, click on the header bar right above the vertical scroll bar and select or de-select the columns you want.

Add the "Type" column, then sort by it.
