Language Selection, not OS default

When I downloaded Zotero to my computer at an Austrian university, it automatically installed German (OS default), even though my Firefox is in English. How to trigger language preference?

    Go to about:config in the address bar and check the value of 'general.useragent.locale'. It needs to be en-US if you want Zotero to be in English.
