Upgrade StorageImporting associated PDFs from Jabref
Just found zotero, looks very useful. I'm interested in migrating from Jabref, which uses bibtex as an underlying datastore. Importing bibliographic info worked great, with two minor tweaks:
- I had to delete some extra info Jabref added to the start and end of the .bib files (zotero seems rather intolerant of .bib variations)
- I had to convert the files from utf-8 to ansi before import. (zotero really should support utf-8)
The final hitch I ran into and couldn't get around was that there was no automated importing of associated PDFs. Those pdfs are referenced in the bibtex records stored by Jabref, so zotero could grab them. Is the zotero import scriptable or modifiable so that I can fix this? If not, could I request this feature?
