importing rdf file file, firefox 3.6 - zotero 2.0.2

I have made a back up of my library month ago. Now I am trying to import rdf file to Zotero 2.0.2, (firefox 3.6) but unfortunately the system is unable to import the file. I have looked the xml (rdf) file, it seems to be fine and not corrupted.
I don't know what is wrong.

    Why are you trying to import RDF? Do you not have your original data directory?

    Note that Zotero RDF isn't recommend for library backup.

    I did not make any back up as it is explained under "How do I back up my Zotero library?" but I checked the default data library location and found the following files "zotero.sqlite", "zotero.sqlite.1.bak", "zotero.sqlite.bak", "zotero.sqlite.36.bak", and "zotero.sqlite-journal". Storage, orphaned-files, styles and translators directories are there too. But yet I can not see my library in zotero.

    You don't need to import anything to upgrade.
