openoffice integration issues

I'm trying to install openoffice integration and am getting the following error:
"Zotero OpenOffice Integration could not complete installation because an error occurred. Please ensure that OpenOffice is closed, then restart Firefox" when I click reinstall openoffice.org components.

I'm able to detect the openoffice.org Paths.

I'm running OS X 10.5.8, Firefox 3.5.7, OpenOffice 3.1.1.
