I am a new Zotero user and I am very happy. However I am still trying to import all my Reference Manager datadase.
In particular, I have used the field "Availability" to save data about the phyiscal position of that book or article (e.g. the place and a number). When exporting to a RIS format this field is saved in a field named "AV". However this information is not imported by Zotero, so loosig my link between the record and the paper copy of a book or an article.
Is it possible to import such a field in Zotero? I did not find any info in the support or discussion up to now
Many thanks

lets start by asking - where would you want that information to go in Zotero, looking at the current fields?
Call number maybe?
But at first glance this might not be easy to do. Obviously you could just save it as a keyword (--> tag) but that might not be what you want. -

This information should be stored in the field "Location in Archive". Thank you very much for any support.

right now there is no way to do that* - Zotero doesn't ex- or import the call number or loc. in archive field from/to RIS.
*short of re-writing the RIS.js translator, which isn't terribly hard if you know javascript, but that's a big if for most regular academics.
