Make a screenshot of current website (like Screengrab!)

What am I talking about?
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1146/

This is a nifty addon that captures the website and saves it as an
image. I think it does it by making a screenshot, scrolling down,
another screenshot + stitch + save.

I really miss that functionality in Zotero, although there is a
snapshot function, that function rarely works as intented, but that is due to not always downlading the CSS file. Maybe a dropdown in "Snapshot" to choose either 'screenshot' or 'webshot' (?) :)

Let me know if this is a viable idea...

  • Responded to on dev list.

In short: that extension uses Java, and we'd really rather not. The real issue is the CSS-saving bug, and that, unfortunately, is an ancient Mozilla bug, not ours. If someone wanted to work on a workaround, they'd be welcome to it. See dev list for more details.
  • Is it the CSS-saving bug that results in the failure to display Greek text on web pages saved from the Perseus Project?
