Sorting items by Court in middle pane

How can I sort items by "Court"/ "Authority" (legal case type)? Is there a way to add other categories ( http://www.zotero.org/support/finding_and_sorting )

    no, not currently possible.
    The variables you can search by are currently only those that exist for each item type (minus the extra field)
    I agree that having better sorting options would be nice.
